A new scan from Jump magazine reveals some more info about the magic system in Final Fantasy XV. Using fire in the game is a lot more realistic now.

As NovaCrystallis reports, the Fire magic will react realistically depending on the environment you are in while playing Final Fantasy XV.

For example, if Noctis and the party are in a grassy environment, the area will set alight. The flammable area such as dry grass will spread and this will affect everyone around you including Noctis and his gang.

There are other new details revealed about the combat abilities of Noctis. Noctis can mount on top of enemies so that he reduces their attacks. He can also jump in the sky to attack monsters too. Last of all, he can even initiate stealth attacks too.

We only got a small taste of the combat in Final Fantasy XV when the demo was released last year. Noctis still had some cool abilities such as teleporting across the battlefield and doing tag-team attacks with his party members.

The combat is faster and more different than in previous other Final Fantasy games. It will be interesting to see how long term Final Fantasy fans feel about the changes being made.
