Today during the EA Play 2017 event a new game was announced in the EA Originals collection called A Way Out, which is another cooperative adventure game from the creator of Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons.
From the initial reveal, A Way Out is a game about two chracters trying to escape from prison. Â It’s designed for split screen co-op only, they’ve pushed for playing the game split-screen locally but it will also be able to be played online. Â Gameplay will consist of variation, exploration, driving, action, and other aspects said Josef Fares the writer and director of the game.
A Way Out Begins in a prison setting with two separate inmates, Leo and Vincent who don’t know each other. Â While the stories progress, players will build a relationship based on trust as they break out of prison into the world.
Being developed by a new studio, Hazelight, A Way Out will be available as a digital download in early 2018 on PC via Origin, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
