NetherRealm Studios has hinted that Animalities and Babalities may not be appearing in Mortal Kombat X.
IGN reports that a video interview shows NetherRealm Studios’ senior producer, Adam Urbano, admitting that Animalities and Babalities may not be appearing in Mortal Kombat X. NetherRealm Studios may not have had time to add them in simply because they have Fatalities and over 100 Brutalities in the game too.
The video interview has been taken down mainly because Urbano confirms that Johnny Cage will be in the game. Urbano said “you’ll get to play as Johnny Cage” in Mortal Kombat X. This confirms that Johnny Cage will be playable in the game too. He won’t just be a non-playable character in the story or anything like that.
Urbano also slipped in the video that Kenshi will be in Mortal Kombat X as well. People already speculated he will be in the game after they saw him feature in the mobile version’s trailer.
As reported a few days ago, a leaked image showed an older Johnny Cage hanging out with Sonya and Jax. It could only be a matter of time until they are officially confirmed to be in the game too.
Now we have to wait for NetherRealm Studios to properly reveal the remaining characters for Mortal Kombat X. There are around 5 or 6 more characters left to be officially announced.
