Batman: Arkham Origins may have inadvertently revealed its cast of villains in a newly uncovered piece of marketing for the upcoming title. The display shows The Joker, Killer Croc, Scarecrow, Deadshot, Bane, and of course, we’ve already heard about Deathstroke in the game’s reveal from earlier this month.
The marketing material was discovered earlier by CVG, and there’s no telling when this piece was due to hit retailers. If Arkham Origins follows suit with Arkham City, Warner Bros. Montreal was likely planning on staggering the reveals of these villains as we head closer to launch.
Batman: Arkham Origins is a prequel to the first two Batman: Arkham titles from Rocksteady. Origins focuses on a younger Caped Crusader, who encounters many of these villains for the first time. Origins is slated to arrive side-by-side with a handheld Batman adventure titled Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate.
Both titles are due to arrive on October 25th on current-gen consoles and the Nintendo 3Ds and Vita handhelds.
