Warner Bros. announced at San Diego Comic Con that two of their biggest superheroes, Superman and Batman, will team up for a motion picture in the future. While Batman has just finished up a trilogy with Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight films, Superman is just getting started with the recently released “Man of Steel”.

Details are slim on the Batman/Superman movie, but all signs are pointing to the ramp up into the Justice League films over the next few years. This crossover will be one of just a few unannounced DC Universe movies to arrive between now and 2017, according to a report from Variety.

The other movies apparently on the table are a movie staring The Flash, and a full-blow Justice League film that is still a few years off.
