You wouldn’t think that doing something as small as switching from day to night would result in a huge change in gameplay for a shooter. However, based on what we’ve seen so far from Battlefield 4 Night Operations, you’d be wrong.
The free DLC is coming on September 1st to PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC, bringing with it nighttime versions Zavod 311, called Zavod: Graveyard Shift. All the standard game modes will work on Zavod: Graveyard Shift, including Team Deathmatch and Rush.
You can see all the nighttime action in the Battlefield 4 Night Operations Cinematic Trailer by clicking here. Making things darker will really alter the gameplay of Battlefield 4, pushing players to a more tactical mode of play. You might finally get to use that fancy night vision that is featured in the game.
The September 1st release date is for the US specifically, with PlayStation owners in Europe having to wait an extra week, until September 8th. However, the Summer Battlefield 4 Update will hit on the 1st for all users.
This update will fix a number of issues with Battlefield 4, while adding in a few things, such as a new public server team balancer, weapons tweaks, and netcode improvements.
