Black Ops 2 Double XP Weekend Begins

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Double XP Weekend has begun on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, and PC.  The Double XP Event is to commemorate the impending launch of the Black Ops 2: Uprising DLC, which is due out on April 16th on the Xbox 360.

The Double XP Weekend will run from now until Monday, April 15th 10:00 am PST.  If you’ve been looking for a good time to rank up your Call of Duty prestige levels, this weekend will be as good a time as any.  If you’re just waiting on Uprising, you’ve got a few more days to go.

While you’re waiting, Activision and Treyarch released two videos of the upcoming content.  A developer led-walkthrough of the new maps, which can be found above.  And the new Zombies map called “Mob of the Dead”, which can be found below.
