Bloodhunt PS5 Players Aren’t Happy With PC Crossplay

Bloodhunt is a unique take on the Battle Royale genre. Instead of simply hunting players down like in the many Battle Royale games on the market today, Bloodhunt put you in the shoes of powerful vampires with an abundance of special abilities and different classes to use in a sprawling city map. Good as the idea is, Bloodhunt players on console just aren’t happy with the state of the game. Especially when you’re talking about Bloodhunt’s crossplay with PC players.

While PC players have always had an advantage when it comes to the mouse and keyboard controls on the platform which allow for better, more accurate aiming — Bloodhunt seemingly makes matters worse by not giving console players any type of aim assist to help them level the playing field.

Crossplay is an important feature in modern games if just for the ability to expand the player pools and keep the game running on all platforms. However, many Bloodhunt players on PlayStation are opting to turn off the cross-play features completely because they feel that they are simply outmatched by their PC counterparts.

How to Turn Off Cross-Play in Bloodhunt

The good news is that you can turn off cross-play in Bloodhunt.  Simply head to the Settings Menu under the General and Gameplay category to turn off the setting.  After changing this setting you should only be playing against players on your platform of choice.

If you’re one of the many that have been enjoying Bloodhunt with friends, but feel like you’re completely outmatched by PC players, heading into the options and turning this setting off just might be the trick to keep the game enjoyable.

Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodhunt recently launched on the PlayStation 5 and PC platforms and is available free-to-play.
