After a bit of teasing, Treyarch has confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be getting another “Double XP Weekend” this week. The event will begin tomorrow at 10am Pacific Time, which is 1pm Eastern. It will then run until Monday, December 14th. The double XP will be provided to those who play online multiplayer, as well as the zombies mode within Black Ops 3.
So far there have been a few Double XP events for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, with the last one happening in November. The game has been out for just over a month, so all of that extra XP really helps new players to unlock all the items, weapons, and specialists that they want in the game.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 has been a veritable juggernaut in the gaming world, launching with some of the best sales of any entertainment product ever. It has since been a bit overshadowed by the release of Fallout 4, which took the gaming world by storm just a few days after Black Ops 3 released. However, the games are different enough that they have their own communities, with cross-over only happening for the occasional gamer.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is available now on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.
