Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Leaked Prior To Square-Enix Reveal, Adam Jensen Is Back
It seems that despite the Square-Enix reveal schedule that was going to reveal the game via Twitch over three days, the existence of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has been leaked.
Sly users over at NeoGaf came across a Russian website, Kanobu (Google Translate) has revealed what many pretty much guessed the whole time, that the ‘Project CKP’ reveal that we reported on earlier this week, was actually a reveal for the sequel to Deus Ex: Human Revolution and the next entry in the Deus Ex: Universe. Titled, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided the game will see the return of Deus Ex: Human Revolution‘s protagonist, Adam Jensen. Game Informer has officially corroborated the story via the reveal of their May cover. It also details a description of the game below;
“Set in 2029, two years after the events of Human Revolution, Adam Jensen returns and joins forces with an Interpol-funded task force aiming to hunt down and capture augmented terrorists in a world that now hates and fears transhumans. Jensen has a new suite of augmentations that allow him to cleverly navigate stealth, combat, and social interactions, but how Jensen chooses to solve every problem is entirely up to you.”
Square-Enix had a three-day reveal planned for ‘Project CKP’ but it seems they will have to fast forward it a bit since today was only day two and the information has seemingly leaked already. No word on when the release date is set for but according to the Russian website, fans can expect Deus Ex: Mankind Divided on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Check out some images that have leaked for the game including concept art to prepare you for your next stint as augmented bad-ass, Adam Jensen.
