DICE has revealed new details about their upcoming expansion content for Battlefield 3, called End Game.  The developers have called the new content “some of the most high-speed warfare to date”.

“Battlefield 3: End Game delivers some of the most high-speed warfare to date across four vast maps,”says a post on the game’s website. “Race through enemy lines using the new dirt bike, bringing speed and agility to the Battlefield, or fight back aerial assaults with new lightweight AA vehicles. Coordinate lightning fast attacks and defenses in the return of the classic Capture The Flag game mode. In the skies, the new dropship introduces the ability to turn the tide with rapid deployment air drops of troop transports.”

The Battlefield 3 End Game content will see four new maps arrive to facilitate the high speed combat, with three new vehicles to use on them (including the dirt bike).  DICE also reveals that a new dropship provides support to ground troops with vehicle drop capabilities, as well.  Finally, Battlefield fans will see the return of the classic Capture the Flag game mode in End Game.

Now that we’ve gotten a handle on what to expect from the End Game content, all there is to do is wait.  With this expected to be the last of the expansionary content for Battlefield 3, we have to wonder if DICE will close out the party with new Easter Eggs for other games?  They’ve dropped plenty of hints at new games since the 2011 release of Battlefield 3, with their most recent one being a callback to Mirrors Edge in the Aftermath expansion.

A new video for End Game is slated to hit later today for Battlefield 3 Premium subscribers.
