Final Fantasy XIV will introduce all-new job changes to every Healer and a brand new categorization system that will be introduced in the new Endwalker expansion pack. Each Healer Job will now receive new actions targeting single-target buffs for either the healer or another party member. Casting time for all offensive spells is now reduced and will generally be around 1.5 seconds. Also, the Healer Limite Break ranger has been increased to 50m.
Healers will now also be broken up into 2 categories, Party Finer and Raid Finder, this will affect how parties are organized moving forward. Both Scholar and Sage will be known as Barrier Healers, and both White Mage and Astrologian will be known as Pure Healers.
White Mage will be getting a few new abilities, a restorative field action with new functionality, a higher-tier holy spell that will be contributing to the Lily Gauge, and a Divine Bension will be a charge action.
Astrologian as a Pure Healer will now be getting several changes, both Diurnal Sect and Nocturnal Sect will be removed, Neutral Sect will include barrier-type effects, Divination Seals will be used for buffs, Redraw will no longer be a Charge action and every time a players uses Draw they can use Redraw once, and finally, a new AoE spell that can be used as both a healing and offensive ability.
Scholar as a Barrier Healer will be getting a new Job action which will allow it to buff party movement speed even during combat, and a new powerful buff that can be used on a single party member.
Finally, Sage the brand new healer will feature all actions of a Barrier Healer. Sage will also have a new ability known as Cardia that can be used to target enemies and choose a party member to heal simultaneously, Icarus which is a gap-closer ability, Adder’s Gall which is a gauge that allows the player to instantly cast barrier heals.
Final Fantasy XIV Online: Endwalker will be released on November 23, 2021, and will be available on the PS4, PS5, and PC.
