Five Night’s at Freddy’s 4 is the final game in the much loved horror franchise….or is it? As we’ve said before there are many reasons to believe that the so-called “Final Chapter” is anything but. Today we have even more reason to think this with the latest teaser image revealed on the Scott Games website.
While seemingly announcing the end of the series, Scott Games changed its frontpage to the image seen above. “The End. Thanks for playing!” is all it says, giving players some closure to the emotional roller coaster ride that creator Scott Cawthon has kept players on for almost a year.
Except, this is Five Nights at Freddy’s we are talking about, so you know it isn’t that simple. If you brighten the image using a photo editor you’ll see a question mark hiding within the image, turning it into “The End?” So, it seems like Cawthon isn’t done messing with player’s heads just yet.
Of course, this could be referencing the upcoming DLC add-on for Five Nights at Freddy’s 4, which was scheduled for October 31st, but could come at any time if this series’ track record is anything to go by. However, most believe that this hints at something more, such as a sequel or a spin-off to the Five Nights at Freddy’s series.
