GTA Online is continuing to grow and change even a couple of years after it first launched. Recently players were given the ability to become their own criminal CEO, selling contraband across Los Santos. Now Rockstar has revealed a new GTA Online update that looks to spice up racing.
The GTA Online Cunning Stunts update (Rockstar is always so clever with their names) will arrive on Tuesday, July 12th. It brings with it brand new ways for players to race across the city. Massive aerial loops, floating tracks in the sky, and more look to be added to the game.
“Stunt Races happen on a massive scale, towering above the Los Santos skyline or soaring between treacherous blades of RON Alternates Windmill Farm,” says the update from Rockstar. “Vehicles tear upside-down through loops and tubes, launch off ramps with extra propulsion from speed strips, diverge and merge across multiple pathways, and speed through gigantic rings of fire in death-defying new Races.”
Of course, none of this will work if it isn’t designed for the vehicles in the game. The jumps and loops have all been specifically tailored to work with certain cars and motorbikes within GTA Online. This includes some new ones that will be added with the Cunning Stunts update.
Stay tuned for full details when the GTA Online Cunning Stunts update hits PS4, Xbox One, and Pc on July 12th.
