Actor Jason Momoa is universally known for his work on Game of Thrones and the DC film universe, and his stunning physical appearance and natural charisma has secured him a place in any fanlist of favourite people to play Kratos in a God of War film adaptation. Now those fan wishes have finally reached him, during an interview where he said he would love to play the part.

Momoa was asked the question by a member of the audience. The actor didn’t seem to know the games in depth, but he said he was aware of Kratos and had seen pictures of him, and confirmed he would love to take the role if he was offered the project. The immediate reaction of the audience made clear just how popular this idea seems to be among the fans.

And it’s true that Momoa, with his history of playing ruthless characters with an impressive physique, is definitely one of the best options to make justice to the character.

Now it’s just a matter that Sony gets the message and starts developing the project of a God of War movie series. The film division of the company, Sony Pictures, is currently working on the film adaptation of Uncharted, which will present Spider-Man: Homecoming’s Tom Holland as a young version of Nathan Drake, in an origin story directly taken from the flashback stage of Uncharted 3.

While we wait for a possible God of War film, remember that the new game of the series is coming early 2018 for PS4. Watch the moment of the interview below.
