Leaked Apex Legends Screenshots Show New Tropic Map

Recommended Videos

A recent leak has revealed the new Apex Legends map which appears to be set in a highly tropic environment with glistening oceans of mesmerising blue hues and the sands of white being overshadowed by storm clouds. This map could potentially be released alongside the next season for the game, stay tuned to this article for all you need to know about the leak.

The Apex Legends Map Leak

On the 14th of September post, a Reddit post by ‘DropoutCollective‘ on the ‘ApexUncovered’ subreddit, had showcased the main content of the leak to speculative fans across the community. There were three images revealed in total, each with its own unique details to be seen and written about.

Firstly, the leak itself came from actual game files, which means that it has a higher level of credibility compared to other  rumors. At the time being, Respawn Entertainment has not shown any of this map before so it should be noted that no details of when the map may truly be open to the public are released.

The New Apex Legends Map Layout

As can be seen from the above image, a portion of the map contains a lot of water elements, with scattered islands across the coastal area. This has led to some speculation that there may be swimming added as a new mechanic for players being able to easily traverse the landscape.

The layout allows for lots of long-range conflicts given that the islands are close enough for an eagle-eyed sniper to pick off enemies on the presumed mainland area.

A new tropic map sounds like a treat for Apex Legends players and we will certainly be hoping that we see this map with the release of the new season in the future.
