The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been one of the most hotly anticipated games for a few years now and now the game finally has a set release date alongside the launch of the Nintendo Switch on March 3. Nintendo has been incredibly secretive about many aspects of the game, but a new listing for the game’s guide that has since been removed may have given us some details.
Amazon UK put up a listing this weekend for a The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Collector’s Edition guide, which is obviously something that many will want to buy themselves. However, what was most interesting about the listing was the information it provided about the game itself. This does not include story spoilers, but those wanting to go in completely blind will not want to read further.
According to the listing, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has “120 Shrine mini-dungeons, 900 Korok seed puzzles and 76 side quests,” as well as other “optional challenges, mini-games, unlockables, Easter eggs, and more.”
We knew about most of this, minus the actual numbers, but what we are intrigued by are the Korok seed puzzles that had not previously been discussed at all. We still have no idea what exactly they are, but there are certainly a lot of them if this listing was correct.
Sometime in the last day though, this listing on Amazon UK has been removed entirely, now just leading to an error page. Considering this had the cover art for the guide and everything, it’s very likely to be legitimate information.
Nintendo probably caught wind of it and asked them to take it down due to the spoilery info, but hopefully we’ll see it up again soon. As soon as we see it up for order on Amazon in the US as well, we’ll make sure to let you know so you will have it for the release of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on March 3.
