Dragon Ball Fusions was released in Japan earlier this year, but nowhere else. Well now it looks like a localized version is on its way very soon.
A person on Reddit posted a receipt he received from Gamestop proving that he pre-ordered Dragon Ball Fusions on 3DS. Sadly, the Gamestop did not give out a definite release date. The only date given to him was a placeholder for 2017.
This is further evidence that the game is coming out to lots of other countries. Earlier this year, the game was rated in Brazil. Considering the popularity of the Dragon Ball franchise, it makes sense for Bandai Namco to release the game to other people outside of Japan.
It’s likely the English version of Dragon Ball Fusions won’t be out until after Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is released in late October. Even though the former is a 3DS exclusive, Bandai Namco may not want to release two Dragon Ball video games out at the same time.
As aforementioned, the game came out in Japan earlier this year and it received decent reviews. The game is an RPG style of game so it’s different from a lot of other Dragon Ball video games out there. Not to mention it adopts a different visual style and a unique story.
