Techland has today released an official teaser trailer to unveil their plans for increased support of the Dying Light Developer Tools.
In order to help fans “fulfill all their creative ideas for original Dying Light content” Techland has announced they will be releasing regular updates for the editor. New features which players can look forward to getting their hands on include terrain creation & editing, custom models import, and multiplayer support.
In a statement released alongside the teaser video the developers commented:
“Thanks to Dying Light Developer Tools you can take the quarantine zone in your own hands to create new maps, tell original stories, and design over-the-top scenarios. Don’t miss that chance to unleash your inner developer!”
Also announced today, Techland has teamed up with NVidia to bring gamers a content based contest called ‘Beyond Dying Light’. Open to all users of the official developer tools to have a chance to win simply upload and submit a designed map by May 11th. The grand prize is an ASUS GTX 980 Strix graphics card but Dying Light merchandise is also up for grabs. The submission form and terms and conditions can be found on the official Dying Light website.
