New Injustice 2 Character Reveals Teased For Gamescom Tomorrow

by Dean James

Injustice-2

Injustice: Gods Among Us released back in 2013 as a DC Comics fighter from NetherRealm studios that ended up being a big hit for Warner Bros. Naturally, a sequel was announced just prior to E3 this year and it looks like we’re going to get even more reveals tomorrow.

The initial reveal trailer for Injustice 2 showed off the obvious characters like Batman, Superman, and Aquaman, while also introducing Supergirl. Since then, we’ve also learned of the inclusion of new characters like Gorilla Grodd, Atrocitus, and Blue Beetle, as well as the returning Wonder Woman.

While the release of Injustice 2 isn’t scheduled until next year, it looks like we are set to get another round of reveals of some sort tomorrow at Gamescom, one of which we can pretty much assume based on a teaser image.

This news came courtesy of the official Injustice 2 Twitter, which simply said “Tomorrow!” along with the image seen at the top of the article with the text “Gamescom: Stay tuned for reveals.”

For those not very familiar with DC Comics, this image may not really give anything obvious away to you, but it’s looking like Harley Quinn is going to be one of those reveals based on the image. She is known for having pet hyenas and that is exactly what this looks like in the teaser image, which hopefully could be mixed into her moveset in some way. Not to mention the fact there is no way she wouldn’t be in this game as one of the most popular characters in anything currently.

It could be assumed that we will be getting more than just Harley Quinn too, as it specificially says “reveals.” That could means we get her and something else about the game like a stage, but hopefully it follows the trend so far and has a veteran character being shown with at least one new character also being shown. That is something we’ll just have to wait until tomorrow to find out for sure though.
