New This Week in Video Games (7/31 – 8/6)

We are officially entering the last full month of the summer gaming season and with that comes one of the bigger releases in awhile with the start of a new episodic series from Telltale Games, along with a mix of some other games across the various platforms.

The first episode of Batman: The Telltale Series releases across Xbox & PlayStation platforms this week, along with PC, which is known as Realm of Shadows.

The only physical release of the week is that of Gal Gun: Double Piece for PS4 and PS Vita on Tuesday, which releases alongside a few PS4 digital titles like Nightmares From The Deep: The Cursed Heart.

Xbox One also has a few games coming out this week, including Layers of Fear: Masterpiece Edition and Dead Island: Retro Rampage.
