It was reported earlier this year by Comingsoon.net, that Milla Jovovich stated that production for the final Resident Evil movie would be begin shooting in August of 2015. Reasons for the delay of the movie were attributed to her pregnancy of her second child.
“I’m really proud of myself for not gaining the same amount of weight that I did with our first child (75 lbs.) because I have to be ready to start filming ‘Resident Evil- The Final Chapter’ in August of this year and I will also be nursing an infant simultaneously.”
Thanks to Jovovich’s instagram account, the first behind-the-scene images of the final chapter have been released from the film’s pre-production. Shooting was rumored to take place in several locales such as South Africa. The last entry in the long film franchise was Resident Evil: Retribution, which released in 2012, with her husband Paul W.S. Anderson set to return again for the fourth time as director.
