Rise of the Tomb Raider is certainly one of Microsoft’s big hitters this holiday season, as a timed exclusive for their Xbox One, so we got a look at the game in action during their conference yesterday. Now with Square Enix’s conference today, we got a more in-depth look at the design process behind the game and how details are everything in Rise of the Tomb Raider.
Rise of the Tomb Raider has Lara Croft back in action once again and most of the time we will be all alone. That means the character model for Lara has to be near perfect and they are doing a phenomenal job there.
The conference showed some behind the scenes making of the model with facial scanning technology and everything to make sure Lara is as real to life as possible from her anatomy to her facial expressions.
Lara herself isn’t all though, as they also revealed that her clothing will have effects from the environment as well, including snow or whatever area she is in.
Make sure to stay tuned all day and for the rest of the week to Attack of the Fanboy for the best coverage on not only this, but plenty more. For all of the info you may have missed over the last two days, make sure to check out our past news and articles.
