Yet another update has been released regarding a game’s enhancements when playing it on the PlayStation 4 Pro, and this time it’s Crystal Dynamics’ Rise of the Tomb Raider. However, this one goes beyond a simple list of enhancements, as they have gone even further by releasing a tech video that shows the enhancements off.
Crystal Dynamics’ chief technology officer, Gary Snethen, walks everyone through the video and details the incoming enhancements. These include things like the previously-announced 3 different visual modes, as well as improved reflections, more dynamic foliage and detailed tessellations. You can check out all of this and more through the video at the bottom of this post.
Rise of the Tomb Raider recently got its long-awaited release on the PlayStation 4 last month in the form of the 20 Year Celebration edition, which includes the full game, all previously-released DLC and even new DLC. You can read our review of the game here and the Blood Ties DLC here.
The new content that came with the PS4’s 20 Year Celebration edition was also released for free on Xbox One and PC, which includes the Blood Ties single player DLC, Lara’s Nightmare Expeditions DLC, as well as co-op support for Endurance mode and VR support for Croft Manor.
