Rock Band 4 Reveals Another 10 Songs That Include Video Game Inspired Band

by Dean James

The highly anticipated Rock band 4 still has a little over a month away from its release for Xbox One and PS4, bringing back a genre that became way too saturated and essentially died off a few years ago. With gamers really itching to get their hands on the game, the song announcements just keep on coming.

Coming off the reveal of a single song last week in the major reveal of Van Halen’s first appearance in the series with “Panama,” this week we have gotten a full setlist of 10 songs revealed for Rock Band 4.

The 10 songs definitely have a good level of variety among this, with the list as follows:

.38 Special – Caught Up in You

Arctic Monkeys – Arabella

The Both – Milwaukee

Cake – Short Skirt/Long Jacket

Little Big Town – Little White Church

Lucius – Turn It Around

The Mighty Mighty Bosstones – The Impression That I Get

The Protomen – Light Up the Night

Soundgarden – Superunknown

Tijuana Sweetheart – Pistol Whipped

This list of songs certainly has some interesting choices, with some more well known songs like “The Impression That I Get,” while a good number are lesser known songs.

One of the most intriguing however is the inclusion of The Protomen, who gained fame by recreating variations of Mega Man music. Their inclusion in a video game makes everything come full circle, which is pretty neat.
