Rocket League is set to receive another patch very soon, with developer Psyonix saying that it “is almost done”. This patch looks to address a few of the smaller issues with the game, such as stat tracking, which impacted one of the PS4 trophies.
The patch was announced saying “BTW, important fix coming in our next patch: Stat tracking for online games will properly record for their correlating Garage items. Another change in upcoming patch: Player’s Win/ Loss Ratio on the Stats page will now be displayed as a Win % instead (by popular demand).” But that doesn’t seem to be all that it will fix, more should be revealed when it arrives very soon.
On top of this Rocket League is poised to receive its first batch of paid DLC, which Psyonix says will arrive “in a few weeks”. The full tweet reads “Our next patch is almost done. In the meantime, Wanna see concept art for one of our new cars in the paid DLC that’s coming in a few weeks?”
Unfortunately that concept art has not been shared at this time. We also don’t have the full details on what will be contained in the paid DLC pack, but cosmetic items and new cars seem to be in the running. (Update: A new tweet has given the concept art, which is said to be of one of the two new cars in the DLC)
Rocket League is available now on PS4 and PC. It is currently free for PS+ members via the PlayStation Store.
