SNK has announced the first DLC character coming to SNK Heriones: Tag Team Frenzy. Today, NIS America confirmed that the next addition to the roster will be coming in the form of Thief Arthur from Million Arthur: Arcana Blood.
Million Arthur is a series that’s very, very loosely based upon the legend of King Arthur. In this version of events, there isn’t just one Arthur, but one million. Each character is a different version of the same person, and they’re all fighting for the right to be the “true” King Arthur. Aside from this, games in the series vary wildly from one another. The original is an online free-to-play card-battle game. Its sequel is a VR JRPG and the most recent game is an MMO. SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy is crossing over with the third entry, an arcade fighter called Million Arthur: Arcana Blood, and introducing its version of “Thief Arthur” to SNK fans.
Thief Arthur is exactly what her name states her to be: a thief. She infiltrated Camelot in order to steal its valuables, but accidentally picked up Excalibur and wound up being crowned king. As seen in the trailer above, she’s a speedy character who fights with quick strikes and strives to keep her opponent off-balance. She’ll also take the opportunity to help herself to any treasure they happen to have on their person.
This brings the total roster of the game up to a total of fifteen, but this isn’t likely to be the final count. NIS America describes Thief Arthur as the “first” DLC character coming to SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy, so it can be surmised that her announcement, like Terry Bogard before her, won’t be the last.
SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy launches for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on September 7.
