The Steam Summer Sale of 2013 is rumored to be kicking off tommorrow, July 11th. Â An alleged report says Valve support relayed the information in correspondence from the Steam Support Desk when asked a question about an item that was previously on sale via the digital marketplace.
The good news is, we won’t have to wait long to find out if this date is the correct one for the Steam Summer Sale to begin. Â The bad news is, there have already been a few rumors about dates that have been wrong over the past week or so.
This once a year event on Steam has PC gamers opening their wallets to find the best deals of the year. Â The Steam Summer Sale has traditionally had plenty of bargains, no matter what types of games you prefer. Â The sale features timed special deals that rotate throughout the day, as well as daily specials, bundles, with some games going for prices so low it’s almost impossible not to impulsively buy.
In other Steam related news, you don’t have to put down any cash to play DOTA 2. Â Valve’s free-to-play MOBA recently left it’s long beta period, and is ready for public consumption.
