Ubisoft has announced today all the detalis for the post-launch content that has planned for Far Cry 5. First of all, owners of the season pass will have access to a remastered version of Far Cry 3, and three adventures already announced, with varied themes including the Vietnam war, a zombie apocalypse, and 1940s science fiction. But that’s far from being all, as the company will also make available to all players a really detailed map editor under the name of Far Cry Arcade, which allows players to design and create their own crazy version of a Far Cry scenario.

What makes Far Cry Arcade a very special add-on to the game is the ability to use assets from other titles in the series and even other Ubisoft franchises, with players getting the choice to create new scenarios using elements from Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Assassin’s Creed Unity, or Watch Dogs,  for solo, co-op or competitive experiences. Arcade seems to be the secret to make Far Cry 5 a long term experience in which players will always find an exciting new mission to complete long after they have finished the main story.

Of course, those who prefer a more guided adventure will also receive a considerable amount of content, starting with the Hours of Darkness, Dead Living Zombies, and Lost on Mars DLCs, as well as Far Cry 3: Classic Edition, which will be available to Far Cry 5 season pass owners an entire month before it launches as a standalone game.

Far Cry 5 launches on March 27 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Watch the new trailers below.
