Sega has released a new trailer of the hotly anticipated Valkyria Chronicles 4, in which we can see the region in the fictional continent of Europa where the story takes place. While the original entry was set in the nation of Gallia, this new chapter will put players in control of a squad sent through the northern regions in order to invade the East Europan Imperial Alliance.

The operation that takes the focus of this new entry is called Northern Cross, and it is an attempt by the Atlantic Alliance to get advantage in the war by attacking the capital of the Empire, Schwartzgrad, by sneaking into the heart of the enemy territory. The Squad E, lead by commander Claude Wallace is sent to fulfill this mission, in which they will have to go beyond the battlefront and go into an icy territory where they can only get limited support. The footage from the game shows cutscenes with the new characters interacting with each other.

We have already seen plenty of gameplay of the game, which is understandable considering it launches in March in Japan. We have also seen images from the special crossover missions with the case of the original Valkyria Chronicles that will be available in Japan for those who preorder the game.

Valkyria Chronicles 4 launches for PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch this year. Watch the new trailer below.
