Warcraft might not have turned out quite as the makers of the movie would have hoped, but the movie is set to be making its home video debut very soon. While the movie will be launching on DVD and Blu-ray later this month and features bonus materials of its own, it will also include additional video game content linked to the popular game.
Certain editions of Warcraft will come with a free digital key of World of Warcraft, which unlocks all expansions released up to Warlords of Draenor and 30 days of game time. It will also include keys for the Hearthstone mage hero Medivh the Guardian and Gul’dan for Heroes of the Storm.
Despite the numbers dwindling for the game in recent years, thanks to the recent Legion expansion the game’s concurrent player count has been the highest that it has been in recent memory.
Warcraft will debut on DVD and Blu-Ray on September 27th in the US and Canada, though it will launch throughout the remaining regions in October. It’s available digitally now.
