Microsoft’s monthly news stream Inside Xbox returns this Tuesday, March 12 with the company stating that it will comprise of exciting news for Halo: The Master Chief Collection. In addition, the livestream will also consist of new updates in regards to the survival video game DayZ, as well as more information on the upcoming action adventure game One Piece: World Seeker. Of course, Microsoft will also give yet another update to their subscription based service, the Xbox Game Pass.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection has been a hot topic as of late. According to Thurott’s Brad Sams, The Master Chief Collection will be ported to the PC, and it is “getting close to release.” 343 Industries has been updating and maintaining the game ever since it’s disastrous release in 2014. Despite the long road to redemption, the developer has arguably changed it around for the better, implementing it with updated mechanics as well as 4K and HDR support for the Xbox One X. On top of that, the game has been a part of the Xbox Game Pass since September of last year.

Halo isn’t the only thing that has caught some attention for Microsoft. Just yesterday, a report came out that the company was planning on launching a disc-less Xbox One S this May. With these recent developments, and the announcement for the upcoming Inside Xbox, Microsoft is currently at the forefront of the pre-E3 hype train. With Sony bowing out at this years event, the only real competition that Microsoft has to worry about is Nintendo and their revolutionary Switch. We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for this Tuesday to see if Microsoft does in fact announce that the aforementioned title will be coming to PC.
