Is the Xbox One’s launch line-up strong enough? Being a proud owner of an Xbox One preorder, I’m concerned that maybe it isn’t. Here’s a full list of games available for the Xbox One on Day One;

As you can see, there are 21 games that will be available for the Xbox One on launch day. This includes 4 arcade games, and only 10 exclusive games, including all of the arcade games. But is this enough? Without comparing it to the PS4’s launch lineup (which is a whole debate in its own), I’m concerned that there aren’t enough games there for everyone.
As for me, I was originally going to be buying Watch Dogs, Kinect Sports Rivals and FIFA 14 on Day One. Now, the first two games have been delayed and the third is free with my preorder. As a result, I will probably buy CoD: Ghosts, Dead Rising 3 or Need for Speed: Rivals. I didn’t intend to pay £50 on any of them originally, but due to other games being delayed, I don’t really want to spend £420 just for Next-Gen FIFA, which I’ve already stated my opinion on.
This definitely doesn’t mean that I don’t appreciate games like AC4, BF4 or either NBA title, but obviously most games aren’t for everyone, and the tough decision of which games to buy and which to wait for to drop in price has to be made.
What does your Day One lineup look like (for Xbox One or PS4)? And do you think the Xbox One’s launch lineup is strong enough? I’ve given you my opinion, now give me yours in the comments section.
