EA revealed fresh new gameplay for its interesting new platforming game called Unravel earlier today at Gamescom 2015.

Unravel is a puzzle platforming game where you assume the role of a character named Yarnie. It’s a character made out of yarn and you have to complete levels before his yarn runs out.

Players will have to solve puzzles in the unique environments that will be in the game. The gameplay footage shown today took place near a beach. The water effects and level design looks gorgeous.

The game is kind of similar on the LittleBigPlanet series in a lot of ways as you go from left to right. It doesn’t have a fully 3D world for you to explore like a game like Mario 64. Still, the game looks unique and is a fresh breath of air in today’s video game environment.

Unravel will be released for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
