Seriously This Time, Battlefield 3 Cheats Hit New Lows

Cheaters issuing bans on Battlefield 3 servers after hacking Punkbuster.

Cheating is running rampant in Battlefield 3. So much so that one of the community moderators of the Battlelog was ousted for being a cheat himself. Today, DICE rolled out a Punkbuster update that has gotten the large cheating community for the game riled up.

Apparently the anti-punkbuster gamers have hacked punkbuster to ban innocent players in protest to their dislike of the anti-cheat measures. So basically, what they're saying is "We're going to cheat and you're gonna take it, or you won't play at all."

The Battlelog is full of complaints of players that cannot access any servers because of the hacks. Neither EA nor DICE has commented on the recent activity in the PC version of the game, but bogus bans can't be good for a fan base that is already voiced their disdain over the rash of cheating going on in the game.

The fix for this is simple, play on non-punkbuster servers for the time being. EA and DICE are said to have a permanent fix inbound.

So I have a question, is it PC only that is being cheated on? I have seen some questionable things on PS3 but I’m not sure that I’ve seen anyone actually cheating.

This is just ridiculous. When will these hacking idiots realize that Dice and EA obviously where in favor of PC gaming and gave them extra attention on purpose. But no, do you think they will be as gracious to the PC community next time? You complain that PC gaming is going to shit. Now do you wonder why? This is why I moved onto console gaming, less ability to cheat and hack and more exclusives. Hackers and pirates are ruining the pc gaming industry and they have no one to blame but themselves. Sure there is some hacking on the 360 and PS3 but it’s definitely not as bad.

Before both bf3 and mw3 was released all the bf fan boys were screaming how mw3 would be a hack fest and bf3 was going to be so great and no hacking at all well its the complete opposite mw3 had no problems since the release,usualy activision would take alot of heat but they kept there word

  Sledge and DICE are going about an equal job with removing hackers. There are just way more on BF3 since EA ran their mouth and proclaimed BF3 as the return of PC gaming.
  
  Hackers dont cheat for the stats, they cheat for the rage. And rage is always more common in more popular games. BF3 has way more players than MW3 on PC.

  the reason you may think there are more hackers is because bf3 was “screamed” to have no hackers while with mw3 hackers were more accepted and thus a large hacking incident in bf3 gets much more publicity.

  I have putted 200 hours on battlefield 3 on my pc, only seen 2 hackers so far. So its not really problem for me. Hate these ignorant console fanboys think there are so many hackers on pc. Many hackers only happen on free to play online games.

I can’t play BF3 because of input lag,I can’t play MW3 because well you know why,both games are extremely broken and they need to fix it as quick as possible
