‘There needs to be a new way forward’: Marjorie Taylor Greene just broke her silence after Trump abandoned her

She just said the quiet part out loud.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene spoke out on Saturday after President Trump stopped supporting her. The two used to be very close, but now they are fighting. Trump called Greene “wacky” and said he might support someone else to run against her in the next election.

Greene posted on X to thank people who are still on her side. She said she did not think that pushing to release files about Jeffrey Epstein and standing up for rape victims would cause this problem. But now it has happened, and she thinks it shows something important.

In her post, Greene said that “there needs to be a new way forward” and talked about how politics in Washington tears people apart, as per The Hill. She said the system makes Americans hate each other but does not actually help regular people. Greene did not say Trump’s name directly, but she made it clear that she trusts the American people more than any single leader or political party.

Things got really messy between these two

Trump did not wait long to respond. He wrote that Greene is a “Lightweight” who turned her back on the Republican Party by going to the left side. He also called her a fake politician and said she is a RINO, which means Republican In Name Only. He compared her to Rep. Thomas Massie, who he has criticized before.

Greene hit back by posting pictures on social media. One picture showed her getting an “A” grade for being conservative while still being called a RINO. Another picture showed Sen. Lindsey Graham getting a “MAGA” label but failing on the conservative scale. She also showed that she has not taken any money from AIPAC, which is a group that supports Israel.

Greene then said the real problem is the Epstein files. She wrote that it makes you think about what might be in those files and who is pushing Trump so hard about this. Greene said she forgives Trump and hopes he will go back to his original MAGA ideas. The Georgia Republican has been making headlines recently for her controversial political feuds.

The whole fight started because some old emails from Jeffrey Epstein came out. Epstein was a sex offender who went to prison, and Trump’s name showed up in those emails. Greene joined three other Republicans to try to force a vote that would make the Justice Department share everything they know about Epstein. Trump told Republicans to stay away from anything about Epstein, but Greene said that was a bad choice.

Greene has also gone after Trump for how his team is dealing with money problems in America. She said Trump is lying to people about these issues. She was also upset that Trump met with the Syrian president instead of working with Republican lawmakers on health care. Trump said before that Greene had “lost her way,” but she told The Hill that she has not lost anything and is still completely America first. Other Republican lawmakers have previously called out Greene’s approach to politics.
