Sony is giving all PS5 owners a free gift worth $33. The offer works for both PS5 and PS5 Pro users, and you don’t need a PlayStation Plus membership to get it. However, you need to claim it before March 18, 2026, when the deal ends. PS4 users can’t get this offer since it only works on current PlayStation consoles.
According to Comicbook.com, you need a PSN account to claim the deal. If you have one and Apple Music is available in your country, you can get three months of Apple Music for free. Apple Music normally costs $11 per month for a regular account, which makes this deal worth $33 in total.
The good news is that this offer isn’t just for new users. Both new subscribers and returning subscribers can claim it, as long as they meet Sony’s requirements. Sony doesn’t explain exactly what “qualified” returning subscribers means, but it likely excludes people who already have an active subscription.
The redemption process is surprisingly straightforward
To get your free three months, open the Apple Music app on your PS5. If you don’t have the app yet, you’ll need to download it first. Once you open it, the offer should appear on your screen with instructions to follow. You’ll also need an Apple Account if you don’t already have one.
Sony has partnered with Apple before on similar deals for both Apple Music and Apple TV, so this new offer isn’t surprising. Interestingly, Sony hasn’t made similar deals with other music streaming services, which might mean Apple has some kind of exclusive agreement with them. While you’re exploring your console’s features, you might want to check hidden settings eating storage space that many users overlook.
Apple Music is a streaming service with over 100 million songs available to play. It works on iPhones, Macs, and iPads. The service is available in 167 countries, so most PS5 and PS5 Pro owners around the world should be able to claim this offer.
This deal gives PlayStation users a chance to try Apple Music without paying anything for three months. If you’re interested, make sure to claim it before the March 2026 deadline. Sony recently revealed new ways to play games remotely, showing the company continues expanding gaming options.
For those who regularly use music streaming services, this could be a good way to save money or try something new without any risk.
