Krieg the Psycho is the next Borderlands 2 character

As Gearbox had teased earlier, Borderlands 2 will be seeing the introduction of another new character.  This weekend at PAX East they revealed this new vault hunter, Krieg the Psycho.  Krieg will come in the “Psycho Pack” which will be available in May for $9.99 or 800 Microsoft Points.

Revealed in the trailer below, Krieg is a Psycho Bandit.  The new character is a melee mauler who uses a Buzz Axe Rampage action skill as his special.  Like all the other characters, Krieg’s skill tree branches in three directions with the Bloodlust Skill Tree, Mania Tree, and Hellborn Tree.

A month ahead of Krieg’s release, Gearbox will up the level cap in Borderlands 2 to 61 with the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade pack on April 2nd.  This takes the skill level from 50 to 61.
