Earlier today, an announcement from Bethesda indicated that the company was moving forward onto their next big project. While it was left unclear whether or not there would be any more DLC for the RPG to arrive at a later date, Bethesda has clarified that there will NOT be any more DLC for Skyrim.

‘For those asking, there is no more DLC coming,’ said Bethesda’s Pete Hines

“For those asking, yes, today’s thanks/farewell Skyrim post does mean there is no more DLC coming,” said Pete Hines via Twitter.

With all hands on deck for their next project, many are wondering what Bethesda will announce. E3 2013 could see a major announcement from the developer, if recent statements from Hines are any indication.

“You’ll hear us making considerably more noise this year than we did last year, said Hines on a recent podcast. “We will be announcing new stuff and making some noise, and I think when we get the chance to show you guys what we’re up to, that you’ll sit up and take notice.”

E3 2013 could be when we first hear about Bethesda’s next big thing.
