You can add Skyrim to the list of games that now supports Steam Trading Cards. Just announced by Bethesda, Skyrim players can now earn cards by both playing the game and trading with friends. This goes for purchasers who picked the game up during the Steam Summer Sale, and those that already own the game.
Collecting sets of these Skyrim trading cards will allow you to unlock Skyrim-specific badges, emoticons, background images, and other.
If you don’t own Skyrim on the PC, all of the RPG’s incarnations have been marked down for the Summer Sale. This includes vanilla Skyrim, the expansion packs, or the all-inclusive Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Legendary Edition. Having trouble remembering what a Skyrim is? It was 2011’s game of the year by most accounts, and the most recent RPG from Bethesda Game Studios.
Sure you could prepare for Fallout 4 with some Fallout 3 or Fallout: New Vegas action, both which have been marked down on Steam as well, but Skyrim features the Steam workshop functionality that offers countless mods that continually build upon the epic RPG.
