Microsoft will be releasing their own proprietary headset for the Xbox One in March, retailing for $79.99.   The Microsoft branded accessory will feature a “full-range audio spectrum”, unidirectional microphone, and feature over-the-ear speakers.

The Xbox One headset will also ship with a Stereo Headset Adapter, which allows users to balance game and chat audio levels, master volume, or mute features for chat.

The Stereo Headset Adapter will also be sold separately for $29.99.  This adapter will allow that already own a headset to finally be able to play their games and chat, with their existing accessories.
