Sega and Creative Assembly have unveiled the first of five planned DLC expansions for their survival-horror game Alien: Isolation. Titled “Corporate Lockdown”, the DLC will provide three new maps for the game’s Survival Mode, along with extra story elements and a new game mode. The new elements will give you a different perspective on the universe of Alien: Isolation.

Each add-on pack will offer new perspectives on the events on-board Sevastopol Station in the days before the arrival of the Weyland-Yutani team

Corporate Lockdown will place you in the shoes of a Seegson Executive named Ransome, who is stuck on Sevastopol Station prior to the events of the game. “On discovering that he’s been abandoned by his paymasters and aware that the Torrens is on the way, he decides to hitch a ride and escape, taking with him valuable decoded Nostromo data. Before he does this, however, there are still a few loose ends he wants to tidy up…”

Three new maps will be playable as part of this expansion, called Severance, Scorched Earth, and Loose Ends. Each map will have its own optional objectives to complete for extra points. You decide whether you want to rush through the map for the best time, or try for the most points as you compete with other players to reach the top of the leaderboards.

Newly added as part of Corporate Lockdown is the Gauntlet Mode. Taking the premise of Survival Mode and making it even more difficult, Gauntlet Mode makes you run through all three new maps without dying once. Simply completing this objective will be tough enough.

The expansion will be available starting October 28th for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. It can be purchased separately or as part of the Alien: Isolation Season Pass, which will give players all five expansions. The next four DLC’s are titled Trauma, Safe Haven, Lost Contact, and The Trigger.
