Minecon, the annual Minecraft convention put on by developer Mojang, skipped 2014 due to various reasons. Then the announcement came that Microsoft had purchased both Minecraft and Mojang, leading some to speculate that Minecon had seen its final days. However, assurances came that the show would go on and we now have official details about the timeframe and location for Minecon 2015.

Tickets for Minecon usually go extremely fast, as in sold out a few minutes after becoming available fast. So, you’ll need to keep an eye out for when and where to get them. All we know at the moment is that they will go on sale this month, but everything else is up for debate.
If you want to volunteer for the convention, or if you have a panel submission you’d like to make then just keep checking Mojang’s site. Volunteers will be accepted before the tickets go on sale, while panel submissions will be requested starting in March.
If you are at all interested in attending Minecon 2015 then you’d better start getting prepared to grab the tickets. For Minecon 2013 in Orlando tickets sold out almost immediately and ended up going for hundreds extra on eBay and other ticket sale sites. Just keep checking here or on Mojang’s site for details as the month goes on.
