Super Smash Bros. will see veteran combatant Mewtwo make his return tomorrow via DLC. We’ve known this for a while now. The big news today is that those who own and registered both the Wii U and 3DS versions of the game are now seeing emails appear containing a code for the familiar fighter.

NintendoEverything has reported that emails from Club Nintendo have already rolled out to the appropriate players in Japan. Registered owners located in Europe and North America should be seeing the same email within the next 24 hours, ensuring that the new brawler can be tested at or shortly after his launch. It is worth noting that the code is valid until September 30th and it will not be usable until the game’s patch hits tomorrow. So don’t get too excited if you obtain a code early.

If you didn’t buy Super Smash Bros. on Wii U and 3DS, Mewtwo can still be added to the existing roster, but it will require some of your hard-earned cash. The character costs $3.99 if only being purchased for one platform. That price goes up slightly to $4.99 to nab the popular Pokemon for the pair of Nintendo consoles, making this the more appealing offer for most.
