Visceral’s New Star Wars Game Will Be Like “Uncharted”

Nolan North recently did a Q&A session at MetroCon 2015. While he talked about Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End mostly, he did give some clues on the Star Wars game that Visceral is working on.

The interesting part of the Q&A session is that he gave some details on the type of Star Wars game that Visceral is developing. He’s still in contact with Amy Hennig and explained what she’s working on.

Any Hennig is no longer at Naughty Dog and is now writing the story for the new Star Wars game from Visceral. North said the game she’s working on will “reboot a brand new Star Wars franchise“. Not only that, but it will be “in the style of Uncharted“. North also said he knows a lot about the game apparently too.

North’s choice of words is very interesting. Rebooting a new franchise could mean Visceral is making a game similar to Star Wars 1313. That game was sadly cancelled when Disney bought out the Star Wars license.

Star Wars 1313 was shown briefly at E3 a few years ago and the gameplay looked similar to Uncharted. However, North said the new game is not Star Wars 1313. It could be something similar though.

Hopefully Visceral will finally announce its Star Wars game soon. EA sadly made no announcements for it at E3 2015.
