One of the more interesting announcements during Call of Duty XP was the news that there was going to be a Call of Duty VR game called Jackal Assault, making it the series’ first foray into virtual reality gaming. The game puts you in control of the personal fighter jet called the Jackal and taking on enemies in space combat.
While you will obviously need the PlayStation VR headset in order to play the game, anyone who owns Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare on PlayStation 4 will be able to download it for free. More details regarding this game are expected to be shared soon.
PlayStation VR is set to launch on October 13th and will cost $400, and it runs off of PlayStation 4. The Jackal Assault game will be available to play as soon as Infinite Warfare launches in November.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will launch on November 4th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. More information on both games will be coming as the XP event continues, so be sure to stay tuned for all of the latest details.
