The rumors of Marvel vs. Capcom 4 appear to be true after all. This is according to multiple sources that have talked to Polygon about it.
According to the website, these sources say that Marvel vs. Capcom 4 will be revealed during the PlayStation Experience event. More specifically, it will be announced at the Capcom Cup 2016 tournament featuring Street Fighter V.
Rumors surfaced for the game when promotional material propped up. We weren’t sure if it was true or not, but now multiple sources are saying it’s very likely. The picture above is the rumored logo for the game.
It’s been several years since Marvel vs. Capcom 3 came out in 2011. With Marvel characters getting popular thanks to the movies, a fourth game in the series might sell really well.
Capcom could have access to more Marvel characters since the license is not segregated like it is in the movie world. In the video game world, we should still see characters like Wolverine and the Fantastic Four appear.
It’s only a few more days until the PlayStation Experience event. Hopefully the rumor is true so we can see some of the characters that will be added to Marvel vs. Capcom 4.
