As the year draws to an end, Nintendo unveiled new information on one of the most anticipated games in 2017, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.  Hours ago, a screenshot was posted on their official Facebook Page illustrating the main protagonist, Link dressed in warrior attire on-guard  with his mighty sword and shield ready to strike at his robot opponent, a Guardian, inside what appears to be a temple. Comments have been pouring in ever since the new reveal.

More footage is expected to come as the release date approaches.  Meanwhile, with the franchise celebrating its 30th anniversary avid fans can relish on this end-of-the-year tease.

The latest installment of the franchise, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was first announced back in 2013 depicting an apocalyptic atmosphere where Link has acquired several survival skills like hunting wild animals, fishing, and using nature-given tools to keep himself warm.  It truly is a breathtaking environment.

The game is set to be released on the Wii U and Nintendo Switch next year. There has been a lot speculation and theory as to whether the new title may perhaps be linked (no pun intended) to the previously well-deserved Twilight Princess.  With that being said, only time will tell as the hype continues.

Speaking of Switch, the next gen console originally known as NX, was introduced showcasing vibrant scenery and gameplay from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild as well as a couple of third party games like Skyrim.  There has been much buzz since then about the actual specs of the console.  Further detailed coverage on the technical implications such as battery life and bluetooth capabilities can be found on our site.

Stay tuned for more details on both The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Nintendo Switch!
