Earlier this week we reported the arrival of some new special gear inspired on creatures of Monster Hunter: World to Street Fighter V, and today Capcom is taking this collaboration to the next step, this time delivering some content from the fighting game to the new and excellent entry in the hunting series. Players of the new Monster Hunter: World for PS4 and Xbox One will soon be able to take down Rathalos or Zinogre dressed up as Ryu or Sakura, using full set of armors unlockable for all players through a series of challenges.

PS4 owners of either Street Fighter V or the new Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition will play with a little of advantage here, as a save file of the game allows them to have access to the armor sets first, unlocking a special quest called “Down the Dark, Muddy Path” in a few weeks. That quest will reward you with Street Fighter V Tickets, an item that can be used in the Smith, along with other materials from the game, to create the Ryu set.

At a later date, yet undetermined, all players will get two new Event Quests that will serve to unlock the sets of Ryu and Sakura. And yes, even though Street Fighter V is a PS4 console exclusive, Xbox One players will also get access to the new armor sets.

The Street Fighter armors function as a whole set, meaning that you can’t just equip separate parts of it. The good news is that both Ryu and Sakura’s sets can be equipped by male and female characters, and you can even change your voice to the ones from the fighting game.

And that’s not all, as Capcom will offer other Street Fighter-themed extras like Shoryuken and Hadoken poses or a stamp set. Here is the list and price for them:

  • Guild Card: Bonus Stage – FREE
  • Achievements: Rival, Destined, Living Legend and Bandana Girl – FREE
  • Pose: Shoryuken & Hadoken – FREE
  • Gesture: Street Fighter V Hadoken – $3.99
  • Gesture: Street Fighter V Shoryuken – $3.99
  • Stamp Set: Street Fighter V Set – $1.99
