Steins;Gate Elite, a remastered and expanded version of the classic sci-fi visual novel, finally has a North American release date. Starting on February 19, 2019, fans will once again have the chance to pull on the lab coat of self-proclaimed mad scientist Rintaro Okabe. Reaching the best ending will still take players on a time-bending adventure many a fan has enjoyed since the original’s release in 2009. However, the story won’t end there this time around, as players will also have Steins;Gate: Linear Bounded Phenogram’s collection of side stories to enjoy before all is said and done.

Steins;Gate: Linear Bounded Phenogram is a collection of eleven short stories told from the perspective of several of the main cast members. Only a couple of these follow the game’s main protagonist, so players who’d like to learn more about Okabe’s friends and neighbors will have a golden opportunity to do just that once they’ve finished with the main game.

It was also announced today that there will be a collector’s edition of Steins;Gate Elite available for both the Switch and PlayStation 4 versions of the game. Both versions will come with the game, a cloth poster, and an 100+ page storyboard collection, but the Switch version will come with 8-Bit ADV Steins;Gate instead of Steins;Gate: Linear Bounded Phenogram.

Both special editions will sell for $89.99 and launch simultaneously for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on February 19.
